CPSC's Counselors & Social Worker
Carla Snow: Grades K- 4 School Counselor
About Carla:
I grew up on a farm in Whiteville, North Carolina. I attended East Carolina University, where I received a Bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I took two years off from school after completing my undergraduate degree to work as a community skills instructor for the Autism Society of North Carolina. Working for the Autism Society solidified my passion for counseling and my desire to be an advocate for children. After two years with the Autism Society I went on to pursue a Masters in Professional School Counseling at Appalachian State University where I also received a certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy. While at Appalachian I worked for the Office of Equity, Diversity and Compliance.
Some of my passions include: yoga, exploring nature, photography, painting, DIY projects, gardening, watching Nashville Predators hockey with my husband (Go Preds!) and spending time with my family, friends, and my little chihuahua. I am very grateful to be a part of the CPSC community.
