Guidance Curriculum
Classroom Guidance Lessons
Classroom guidance lessons are a great way for the counselors to interact with all students. The counselors work with teachers to schedule lessons and identify specific topics to meet the needs of students at each grade level.
Small Groups
Small groups are a wonderful way for students to work with peers to develop and practice new skills. Groups provide a safe space to discuss common issues with classmates and to learn from other children. Most small groups are run weekly for 4-6 weeks.

School Social Work
Support
School social workers address barriers that prevent students from receiving full benefit from their educational experience. Confronting racism, sexism, and other oppressive forces impacting the quality of education our students receive are challenges embraced by school social workers. School social workers advocate for additional supports that will allow the children to thrive.
